MG-India going to unveil its EV in the country on 5th of December 2019

After the huge success of MG Hector which was launched back in June 2019, now its time for its next vehicle to launch in the Indian Market.

Morris Garages (MG) finally revealed the official date of the unveiling of its electric vehicle MG ZS on 5th December 2019. Bookings will be opened in the month of December mostly and sales will start from January 2020.

This electric SUV sports with 150 horsepower electric motor that will draw power from a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, which gives a range of 335 kilometers according to the older NEDC test and 262 kilometers range according to newer WLTP test. Charging time is expected to be around

 7 hours for a full charge via a 7kW AC charger, while it takes 40 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent with a 50kW DC fast charger. 

We can expect this car to be priced around Rs 22 lakhs (ex-showroom price). It rivals Hyundai Kona that is on sale at a price of Rs25.3 lakhs. It was announced early that MG will initially bring its SUV in 5 major cities namely

2. Mumbai
3. Hyderabad
4. Bengaluru
5. Ahmedabad
